Following the Country Thunder Music Festival on Memorial weekend 2018, a group of a dozen people started the work on forming a non-profit organization to honor the families of those who have lost a loved one while serving this country. This includes military, law enforcement, fire, and EMS.


The organization stems from a vision that wishes to remember those who have paid the ultimate sacrifice for their country and to also heal the fading art of Patriotism in the United States of America. We are proud to be Families of the Fallen, Inc.

Since 9/11, we have been helping America’s heroes by providing mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families with young children and by building specially-adapted smart homes for catastrophically injured veterans and first responders. We are also committed to eradicating veteran homelessness and helping America to Never Forget September 11, 2001.

We offer a community of compassion, support and the comforts of home to families with critically ill children, steps away from the medical care they need. At our programs, we care for families including caregivers, children receiving outpatient treatment, siblings, and other family members. By easing the financial and emotional burdens of caregivers and taking care of important practical needs, our programs allow families to focus on what truly matters most, caring for their child.
